I had an appointment with the cable company this morning because my cable and phone were just not acting right. I was getting some “snow” channels et. so I called on Friday to set up an appointment and between 10 am and Noon was the only time that they had available. The time was great it was early enough that I can still get what I need to done for the day. So I was good.
Well the kids got up about 9 this morning and I was laying in bed taking full advantage of the sleep let me tell you. Especially since I still feel really icky. So I got up, started breakfast, and a movie so that I could hop in the shower. Everything is going good no one is screaming life is ok at this point. Then I get a random phone call from the cable guy.
He is going to be here in like 5 min and wants to know if that is ok. Well of course it is I would much rather have them be early than late any day of the week. The only down fall here is that I am as you know 8 months pregnant and I just got undressed and my shower started. I don’t know if I can get dressed in less than 5 min. So I am scrambling to throw some sweats and a shirt on so that I am not in the nude when he got here. That could have been embarrassing to say the least. So instead of me getting in the shower I put Alex in the bath. Thinking that would keep him content while the cable guy was here. It did for all of about 15 min, which is about normal I guess. I must say that the look in his face was priceless when he came running out of the bathroom naked and ran in to the cable guy. He looked petrified, it was hilarious. The cable guy just laughed and started telling me about his 3 daughters. So I instantly knew that he was not offended or something. It was just really funny to see. I just got this look of who is this and why is he here?
It ended up that we had 2 bad connectors and he replaced both of them and now it is working great. I am so glad. I love the snow just not the “snow”
Any ways I think that I am going to proceed to my shower now have a good one.
